"And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose."
We Know we don't have to be afraid of this life because we have a new and better one awaiting us. I am here for all of you. Ask for prayer and I will be happy to pray for and continue praying for each and every one of you. This is my way of furthering the Kingdom of God.

11 And we desire each one of you to show the same earnestness to have the full assurance of hope until the end, 12 so that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Hebrews 6: 11-12

This guy has such a fresh idea about Christianity and what we should be doing. It is so inspirational. Please take 20 minutes out of your day and just listen and absorb. It just might change someone’s life.

I guess that’s life this side of Heaven…

This prayer goes out to the families who were impacted by the shooting in Colorado. 12 people dead, more than half of them children under 12. 59 wounded. I don’t know how many were in there, but 71 people sound like most of the theater. The shooter had painted red hair and called himself the Joker. What a sick thing to do. This man snuffed out the life of 12 people, and impacted the lives of hundreds more. Not only the people he injured, but all their families and friends.

According to http://www.huffingtonpost.com this was the worst mass shooting in Colorado since the Columbine High School massacre in 1999, and the worst mass shooting in the US since 2009.

This is so sad and begs the question, ‘what is wrong with this world?’ Well that’s it isn’t it? We are in THIS WORLD. THIS WORLD is broken and flawed, as are it’s people. This just shows that we have SO much to do. We need to shine Christ’s love to everyone. Who knows, if the shooter had known Christ’s love, there is no way he would have done this. I am by no means sticking up for him, but he is a human, just like us, and he is sinful and evil, just like us. The only difference between him and us is our Father’s love that changes who we are. He needs Jesus as much as we do, and as appalled as I am, and as much as I would like to give this man a piece of my mind, and maybe my fist, that is not what Jesus calls us to do. After all, the Father says no sin is greater than another, so shouldn’t we feel the same way? This man sinned, but he very simply needs Jesus.

Think of it like this. We know the love of our Heavenly Father. Shouldn’t we want EVERYONE else to as well? No matter what they have done?

I care about all of you who read this, but more importantly, God cares about you. He loves you more than I ever could, and that is saying a lot :)

I just felt the need to send some love to all of you and remind you, our Father has overcome this world, and through him, so can we. Stay strong sisters and brothers! Shine His light to this dark world!

p.s. send me a prayer request if you need prayer!!

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. ” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

2 Corinthians 12:9 -10

Matthew 10:22

"And you will be hated by everyone because of my name. But the one who endures to the end will be saved."

'And you will be hated by everyone.'

Well that sounds about right. We Christian’s are hated all the time. We are hated by anyone and everyone who is not our sisters and brothers in Christ in some way. The beginning of this verse is not as happy as we would like, but the end is so wonderful. We Christians have to have faith and endurance to get past all the ones who hate us, to our everlasting father in heaven. That is our prize in the end. Our wonderful everlasting life in joy with our brothers and sisters and Jesus.

Matthew 10:19 - 20

"…Do not worry about how to speak or what to say, for what you should say will be given to you at that time. For it is not you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you."

Matthew 10:14

"And if anyone will not welcome you or your message, shake the dust off your feet as you leave that town or house."

Matthew 7:2

"You will be judged by the standard and measure you judge by."

Alright guys, think about this one for a second. Think about how you judge people. Not IF you judge people, but how you judge people, because let’s be honest, we all judge. So think. What standards do you judge by? Not God’s standards. You judge by the world’s standards. ‘Her nose is too big, her teeth aren’t straight, his abs aren’t perfect enough, she has flabby arms, he talks funny, he doesn’t have good people skills.’

That is what I have heard come out of people’s mouths within the last few weeks. That is what the world’s standards are. Small noses, straight teeth, washboard abs, skinny arms, perfect speech and good people skills.

So I ask you this. How would you like it if Jesus stood on his cloud and looked down on you and asked his angel friends, ‘Why can’t she fix her arms, nose and teeth? What’s wrong with that guys abs, speech and people skills?’ How would that make you feel? So the simple thing is, stop judging, or you will be judged.

Isaiah 62:12

"They [Christians] will be called "The Holy People. The Ones Protected by the LORD." You will be called, "Sought After, City Not Abandoned."

Matthew 7:8

"For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened."

I don’t usually write anything after bible verses, but this bible verse is one that I believe I need to give my opinion on.

I just read this verse again today in my devotional. I have read it a hundred times before, but I have never really understood it, and I wonder if any of you have. “For EVERYONE who asks receives.” Everyone. That’s you, me, my neighbor, the drug dealer down the street, the murder on death row, the churchgoer, the movie star. Everyone. Anyone who truly believes in the power of God. It is very plain. If we ask and believe in the power of God, will receive. So don’t fear and ask.
